Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for interfacing with business to gather requirements, requirements prioritization while employing best practices for requirements elicitation. Assist development team and users in product development process.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead requirements discussions to document, analyze and translate functional and non-functional requirements into user stories, diagrams, and other deliverables as needed.

Work independently on all projects with low to medium complexity.

Assist with backlog maintenance, user story refinement and prioritization.

Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

Maintain product documentation as needed.

Assist the team with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions.

Participate in design discussions and provide solutions.

Support system testing and documentation for the purpose of audits.

Support customer in training efforts for end users and staff members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or 4 equivalent years of related experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in analysis and design on software development projects in analyst role (preferably in agile team).

Domain knowledge and preferred business analysis experience in Accounting and Finance processes including but not limited to Vendor Contract Management, Procure to Pay process, Accounts Payable. 

Experience is preferred in BP Logix, DocLink, Great Plains or SAP Financials

Database querying skills

Minimum 1.5 - 2 years of experience in testing of application and back end tables

Experience in triaging, researching issues and getting hands on into application.

Experience is preferred working in audited applications.
