Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Contractor will join a team that supports the Agency’s Pega Deployment Support Task order.

The Sr. Application Developer will design, setup, validate, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipeline to support Pega development, testing, and deployment.

Design & Implement integration of Pega environments with MDE pipeline for DevOps continuous integration.

Document Developer Practices and Procedures

Document Test Automation Practices and Procedures

Document Deployment Automation Processes and Procedures

Support onboarding new Pega projects/products into Pega Deployment Manager

Lead the development of major increment of functionality (set of related user stories, feature, process, …) within the overall application:

Detailed design

Coding

Documentation

Unit, assembly, and end-to-end testing for the increment

Assist with requirements development and validation

Assist with end-to-end testing at application level

Direct and mentor 1 to 3 junior developers if applicable

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

Developing applications with Pega - minimum 2+ years

Automated testing - minimum 1 + years

General software development - minimum 5 + years

Bachelor’s degree + 7 Years of experience Computer science or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) or System Architect (SA) Certification

IT modernization experience (replacing or migrating legacy functionality and data) - minimum 1 + years

Pega DevOps - minimum 1 + years

Working in Agile development team - minimum 1 + years

Education/Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree + 7 Years of experience 

Computer science or related field preferred
