Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Initially Remote but in future required 2 days onsite in Weehawken, NJ

12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Required Experience:

Relevant Hands-on 4-6+ years of experience on the below (but not limited to):

Strong Foundation in Java/J2EE Technologies including Selenium Test Automation

Microservices architecture work experience

Spring framework - specifically Spring Boot (additionally IoC, Transactions, Web Services)

Rest web services development using Spring Boot

JUnit with Mockito or similar framework

Repository knowledge – Bitbucket / GitHub

JavaEE code review experience with industry standard tools (ex: PMD, check style etc.)

Good understanding of applying Design patterns (what to use and when to use)

Automation Framework Development & Testing experience on custom developed applications or COTS using TDD

Establishing and executing automated testing strategy for mobile applications with Tools like Selenium and continuous integration tools like Jenkins etc.

Establishing and executing automated testing strategies, framework for mobile apps with Tools like AI Based Automation Tool (Functionalize) or Web Driver/Selenium/Appium/Perfecto, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.

Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have

Good experience in test management tool (JIRA, qTest)

Swagger API

Familiar with Jenkins or similar CI tool

Knowledge of development, debugging, logging tools.

Strong understanding of quality requirements and methods to meet them.

Experience with relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and SQL

SQL, XML, SOAP, Maven, Code Management tool: Mercurial (or SVN), IDEA / Eclipse, Tomcat / JBoss / WebSphere

Excellent Communication Skills / Client Communication Skills
