Transportation Coordinator/ HR Assistant/ Training, 2014 to Present

 

At this time I work in the El Paso Terminal.  My Title is TC (Transportation Coordinator).  However in my venture with Groendyke Transport, I am currently filling in many areas of the terminal to include the HR Department, Billing, Auditing, Training Department, Dispatch and other areas that need my assistance.   My focal position has mainly been in assisting in the hiring and screening of potential applicants.  While in this position I evaluate and schedule training in the certification of drivers that become eligible in advancing into furthering their challenges for in house opportunities that position drivers into better paying accounts.

In dispatch I direct, instruct and schedule loads according to the need and demand of the sales trend in commodity occupancy.  I also help process paperwork with accuracy for driver payroll and provide customer service.

The goal as a caregiver was to provide care intervention in regards to the needs of physical, emotional and social needs of My brother (Gilbert Rivera) in a temporary and permanent basis the focus was to provide him with a family setting providing de-escalation of familial crisis due to his new home which became our home.  Along with the fostering of one’s brother, El Paso city children were also fostered and their needs were to help the children’s unruly/delinquent behavior and mental health needs until a community service plan can be developed.  Ages of the children served were ages 0 through 11
