Claims Management System for managing claims including FNOL, Automated Letters, Assignments, Litigation, Catastrophes, ISO/CMS etc. Developed over 700 system requirements in 9 sprints of our initial gosu configuration and rules development implementation. Developed plugin and event messages for automated letters integration. Worked on designing and developing several .net integration and/or webservice  applications.

Senior .Net Developer

§  Great American Discount Buyers Association Administration application for managing insurance products. Designed and developed a web based application using VB.net, ASP.net SQL server 2000, XML. The large 50+ page application was created within a very short timeline. Its features included a custom role based navigation/security system to provide page level full/read-only security. Each detail page allowed provided add/edit/delete functionality based on users roles. A backend scheduling windows service running nightly that imports policy updates as well as calculates and sends XML insurance billing and commission information. The system was then integrated into the web based shopping cart system to allow store users to be billed for the memberships.

§  Insula Research – Insula Survey System, Developed and maintained a web based application that tracks survey results for the blink VISA card  using VB.net, ASP.net SQL server 2000.  This system allows store auditors to collect data and analyze the results. The system also has a utility that imports/exports Excel spreadsheet data and performs various lookups and validations with the data.

§  NetJets -- Ijet II, Developed & maintained a Client Server application that tracked fleet movement, Catering,  and other airline activities – This application was a VB front end that communicated with a Java middle tier connected to an Oracle backend. Developed various front end enhancements including prototyping a spell check web service developed to provide a custom dictionary of aviation terms to the client and web system for synchronized spell checking capability.

§  Florida House – Lawmaker 2.0. Designed and developed a speaker’s dashboard application using an n-tier architecture using Asp.net, Ado.Net, C#, SQL Server.  This application allowed the speaker of the house’s staff to schedule which committees various state bills would visit. Another part of the application would update the lawmaker’s browsers using an ActiveX control with the current bill being discussed on the house floor.

§  Nationwide – AOA+ (Agent web site) Testing Framework – Created a testing framework in C# with NUnit that helped developers speed the process of building automated unit tests for the AOA+ application. Business Component Services – Built an XML compare utility using Visual Basic to test middle tier Business Services. Enhanced the ELife application with various visual and business changes of a Visual Basic middle tier website.

§  National Data Evaluation Center – Web-site Performance Test – Used Microsoft’s Web Stress Tool to measure the scalability of the web application and determine which pages to optimize. 

§  Wendy’s International – Promotional Item Tracking – This application tracked how promotional item’s sales performance to provide higher visibility for better efficiency of the supply chain. The technologies used  were Java Servlets, JSP, Weblogic Server 6.1, DB2

§  Grange Insurance – Commercial Insurance Policy Entry – worked on a small team of developers that built a web application for allowing agents to manage policies using ASP and SQL server. Also, developed a Visual Basic build and deployment tool using an XML configuration file for the web application. The tool could be scheduled to retrieve the latest version of the source code out of Visual SourceSafe, start/stop COM+, using SQL DMO to update the stored procedures and deploy the web pages to the web server in all environments.
