· Enhancing a Provisioning Tool using C/C++ and QT development platform. Exposure to DOM XML processing.
· Developing a Java Event Messaging API SDK to interact with ConnectEMC product from external Java applications. Converted XML Schemas in XSD format to Java objects so that they can be Marshaled and Unmarsheld using JAXB and Apache’s Xerces library. The API Jar file was obfuscated. The development was done using J2SE 1.6 update 10.eveloped a Linux Connect EMC product to transfer files over HTTP/HTTPS using Curl API. Developed with C/C++ and Fortify for Linux. RedHat and SuSe.
· On Windows: Duties also included fixing bugs, and development using Visual C++ 8.0 (Visual Studio 2005)/MFC and Fortify tools. Also developed an interface to RSA BSAFE Crypto-C Me product. Developed components to encrypt data using AES, DES, PKI, PKCS and Exposure to OpenSSL and CA certificates. Developed the RSA and cryptopp encryption on Windows and Linux.

· Visionary in the development of next generation business and personal communication products. Creating a Unified Messaging system for the Healthcare Industry. The front end Graphical User Interface is written in J2SE Java components (such as Swing and AWT). And the server is written in Visual Studio 6.0 C++ using multithreaded application.
· 7Worked on a short assignment doing J2SE (JDK 1.5) (Core Java, Swing, AWT) client frame work front end to a J2EE system running JBOSS. The application downloaded files to communication devices via UDP and TFTP protocols.

Working on the server side of the Navisphere Clariion (Storage) Software Platform. Duties include fixing bugs, and development using Visual C++ 6.0, Visual C++ 8.0 and WinDbg tools. Exposure to OpenSSL and CA certificates. The product was a Java client and C++ server. I worked on the Navisphere server application which was a multi-threaded application.

Developed an extended Unified Messaging System on Windows/NT. This was a client/server implementation. The projects were client/server distributed systems using TCP/IP Sockets and SSL connections.
Wrote a J2ME application for the Nokia phone set to access the eAssistant data in real time.
Java Software Engineer The client software is a Microsoft Outlook look-a-like program written in Java(J2SE) (Core Java, Swing, AWT) using components such as JAI, Java sockets, Java Help, Java Mail, and Java multithreads. The client software was written and tested to run on LINUX, Solaris, AIX, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. Java Media Frame work was used in a video chat program that streams video. JAI was used to display Fax (TIFF) images. The administration program for the server was written in Java (J2SE) and ran on all of the above platforms. C/C++ Software Engineer: The server side used Text-to-Speech and Speech Recognition Software. Server spawned threads to service client connections. Windows CE: Developed a Windows CE to eAssistant data in real time.

Implemented code to manage Windows/NT logs and other EMC specific logs.
The logs were stored locally on a machine and then transferred to remote machines for backup and viewing of logs. Navisphere server application was a multi-threaded application.

The NotesView for AIX (using NetView) product is a part of the NotesView for Windows3.1 (using HP OpenView) product. Was also a (lead) member of the team that ported the Windows 3.1 NotesView to Windows 32 platform (mainly Windows/NT). Telephony Notes Management Project: Responsible for the telephony interface, client/server components and the user interface.

Senior contributor to analyze and migrate the Wildfire system from UNIX to Windows/NT. Was a contributor for two major software releases for the Wildfire system. Participated in the development of Networking between two Wildfire systems to pass messages between them. Exposure to the Oracle DB.

Architect/development of a voice server on NetWare. Created architecture for a voice platform on NetWare using existing TSAPI client/server infrastructure. Also proposed architecture for NetWare Voice platform. For confidentiality reasons I am unable to disclose the details of the architecture.
Project Lead for Win32 TSAPI (Windows/NT and Windows 95): Implemented Win32 version NetWare Telephony Service client software for Windows/NT and Windows95. This was implemented on WinSocket using IPX/SPX protocol. Also developed a simple Win32 dialer application, Spy trace utility (using Win32 named pipes) and ASCII script driven install program (Win16/Win32). I was also responsible for the overall project management and coordination of the project between the partners and initial users of the SDK. Tools used: Visual C++ 2.0&1.5, MFC 3.0. TAPI Development: Developed TAPI applications on Windows 3.1 platform and attended the TAPI Developers BakeOff conference in August 1994. Represented Novell and WordPerfect (Novell's Application Group) at the TAPI BakeOff with simple assisted TAPI applications and Full TAPI enabled applications. TSAPI: Presented High-level TSAPI architecture that would give simple TSAPI services to non-telephony enabled applications. Presented NetWare Fax architecture at NetWare Telephony Services conference. Windows Software Engineer: Lead Windows developer, involved in designing and implementing multimedia enabling LAN middle ware software. Responsible for the client component of the NetWare Video product. NetWare Video enables Video for Windows client workstations to play AVI/MPEG files from a NetWare Video server. Duties included writing functional specifications, designing and implementing components, interacting with other partners and the release of the product. Using multithreading on the server to spawn client connections.

Project Leader/Acting Program Officer
Responsible for delivering a Voice Mail Busy Greeting application on a distributed UNIX platform (CO ACCESS) for the current customer base. Project manager/developer responsibilities included writing specifications (Project Plan, Functional requirements, Functional Specification, Design Note), implementing and unit testing source code (C), and coordinating SQA and Technical documentation. Program office responsibilities included negotiating features and requirements with customers, coordinating the verification office (alpha) test, first office application (beta) test, and general deployment with customers.
Software Architect: Was involved in designing and specifying a future Voice Application Platform for Boston Technology Inc. Responsible for developing an Application Development Environment (which included an API), and other platform components using C++ and relational data bases.
Group Leader/Project Leader: Responsible for six major projects (CO ACCESS Net, Addressing Domains, Muti-application Services, Reminder Application, Redistribution, and Backup/Restore) that included architecting, technical advice, tracking projects with project managers and assigning resources.
Project Leader for Multi-Application Services. Using object oriented methodologies designed and implemented multi-application service interfaces (an API) that voice applications used to invoke other voice applications and platform services. The interface layer was built using C for a distributed UNIX platform (CO ACCESS).
Architected a domain based addressing scheme for voice message addressing. This addressing scheme provided for seamless mailbox addressing. Designed a voice message networking platform service. The Networking product was implemented using the analog transport media.
Redistribution Tool: Redistributed voice data to and from VPU's (a subsystem of CO ACCESS) over the network. Enabling the voice data to be moved without interrupting call processing. This allowed VPU's to be shut down without shutting the entire system.
A co-inventor of two patents that are pending approval: the Voice Message Addressing product, and the Voice Message Networking product.
Project Leader/Research Scientist: Architected a FAX storage and retrieval system that was to be integrated with the Voice Mail system. A co-inventor of the patent, Integrated Services Platform for Telephone Communications System, filed by BTI.
Project Leader/Research Scientist: Project leader for two BTI Voice (UNIX) platform software releases. The software releases included all software needed for all sub-components of the CO ACCESS system. Implemented multi-lingual support for the CO ACCESS platform. Increased performance of the system by adding a DBVISTA database to the system. As a project leader interfaced with customers, marketing, other R&D departments, and rest of the company.
Product Engineer/Research Scientist: Designed and Implemented a new voice mail application, that almost became the industry standard. The VMUIF standards were derived from this application. Applications were written in C for SCO XENIX/UNIX.
Product Engineer/Research Scientist: Structured and implemented the Pay Phone application on a distributed XENIX platform (CO ACCESS). CO ACCESS is a state of the art Voice Processing platform. Responsible for adding features (such as outdial) to this platform to support the new application. This required a good knowledge of the CO ACCESS software and architecture. Implemented a redundant outdial strategy. Implemented the C-NET, an outband packet transfer mechanism for the Pay Phone application, on the CO ACCESS system.
