Major Accomplishments:

·         Managed the conversion of the JDA VMR application into web-based GUI client. Single handedly analyzed, designed, coded, and implemented more than 200 RPGLE and CLLE programs to ensure compatibility with the VMR.

·         Re-designed the Point-of-Sales process to accommodate the new EDI file format (852) and to include configurable posting of post quantity sold, On-hands, Returns (both store and warehouse returns), Out of stock, On-Order, etc.

·         Improved the order replenishment process to eliminate hardcoding, to streamline necessary controls required by each partner and to consolidate PO assignment at the retailer or store level. Worked closely with the EDI, Sterling Integrator (SI) and SAP teams to ensure that technical and business requirements are all met.

·         Led the implementation of the JDA VMR application to Canada retailers. Collaborated with the Canada counterparts in deciding the best possible approach to handle the processing of the POS 852, SAP Open Orders, Shipments, and Cancellation files.

·         Initiated the multi-thread processing of critical batch processes to enhance system performance. This reduced the processing time of approximately 80% which eliminated the problematic delays of the order transmission to SAP and Technicolor.

·         Designed and developed forecasting system to support the demand of the fast moving new release and catalog materials.

·         Increased efficiency by introducing a tool written in Excel to give users the flexibility of changing key field values in JDA application. It also allows users to create orders and update the stock level which is very crucial to the calculation of suggested order quantities. The tool saved the users 75% of their time creating replenishment orders.

·         Improved productivity of the business users by 40% - architected the design of the added functionalities of the Planogram application written in VB.NET in windows.
