AEO/DSW/Rue 21                                                                              2012-2013

Senior ATG Technical Lead (Contractor)

Worked on several ATG projects for KP clients including:

·         AEO - Configuration, troubleshooting, and analysis to increase the performance of the ATG Content Administration remote preview facility. The client, a large clothing retailer with both online and bricks-and-mortar operations, could not reliably preview their catalog changes before deploying them to the staging workflow target.

·         DSW - Design of a new system to import product, price, ratings and inventory data from backend systems into ATG. The client, a very large online and bricks-and-mortar shoe retailer, had a major problem with importing data through ATG, lasting more than twelve hours daily. With their new plan to connect store and online inventory, the current procedure was not scalable. A more efficient procedure which scales down the use of the ATG Content Administration system (which is quite slow when thousands of assets need to be deployed each night) and uses Oracle stored procedures was designed and implemented. Import time decreased to less than one hour each night.

·         Rue21 - New e-commerce implementation for a clothing retailer. Responsible for catalog design, nightly catalog, price, and inventory imports, and scheduled updates of computed properties. The subsystem was implemented in a combination of Java (Catalog Import Service and Computed Property Service) and PL/SQL (transformation and import packages).
