Fidelity Investments is a group of privately held companies in the financial services industry. Fidelity Investments includes a large family of mutual funds, their distributors and investment advisors, and a retail brokerage, as well as unrelated business. Fidelity Investments is the leader in the 401(K) business. The Small Business Sector (SBS) of Fidelity Investments wanted to start a new Competitive Intelligence (CI) unit to analyse and strategize the competitors by creating a knowledge base internally in a Microsoft Share Point Intranet My job was to help design the entire Competitive Intelligence Infrastructure for the SBS in Kentucky. The Project was involved in Data Warehousing which was developed to integrate operational systems into one central database structure. Medco is a health care company offering pharmacy services to a wide variety of customers. Data Segmentation/Campaign Management team builds targeted campaigns by customer segmentation at various levels to market specialty class of drugs (Drugs designed to treat rare diseases). The main intent was to convert eligible members using a retail pharmacy to use mail pharmacy i.e. to order via the company's web portal and or use the phone ordering system. Campaigns were also developed to inform eligible members of alternate pricing options and efficient drug access locations for Specialty Drugs.
