SAM’s motors are involved in sales & service of Honda cars & bikes. Customers and sales & service data is extracted daily from disparate source systems that include MS-SQL Server and flat files source systems. Extracted data is populated into an intermediate staging that is modeled on star-schema. Then data from staging is extracted, cleansed and populated into a target SAAS data mart that is modeled based on star schema. A reporting layer is built on top of SAAS data mart to produce automated sales & service analysis, fore casting and customer reports on a daily basis. Reports are developed using OLAP tool.
