Responsible for managing critical database infrastructure (MS SQL Server) for engineering plants and application within US, Mexico and Brazil manufacturing facilities.  The database team was responsible for providing 24X7 support for all production databases.

 

Managed a team of MS Business Intelligence (BI) developer, Cognos developer, SQL Server DBA and .Net resources within the global headquarter in Duluth, GA, USA. Responsibilities included were to manage resources, to prioritize projects, oversee technical design including data model, ETL and report design and the overall SDLC process.

 

Worked closely with the SQL Server DBA to drive database strategy, best practice and architectural guidelines. Partnered with enterprise architecture team to contribute to enterprise architecture for MS BI and SQL Server database technology.

 

Worked with internal clients and business partners to help them define requirements, proto-types, Proof of Concept (POC) and then deliver the solution with an end to end involvement.
