Solutions Architect – FOCUS and Regulatory Reporting
Responsible for the design of the Enterprise Regulatory Reporting System, this design automated the manual processes that produced Haircuts(weekly), Daily Net Capital, Weekly Reserve, and the creation of FOCUS (Financial and Operational Combined Uniform Single report) reporting. The result was the creation of a rules driven platform for Regulatory Reporting that provided the agility to quickly adapt to the volatile changes in the regulatory environment. This system eliminated thousands of man hours and completely eliminated the need for human intervention into the process.

Solutions Architect – Trace Reporting with FIX
Responsible for the creation of the architecture which automated TRACE Reporting from the internal Trading System to FINRA. Solutions Architect – Convert Institutional Fixed Income backoffice to BroadRidge Impact
Responsible for the creation of the strategy to convert the Institutional Fixed Income business unit’s back office process from SIS to Impact. In addition to the strategy and conversion plan the creation of the Solution Architecture was provided, this architecture detailed the integrations between the new system and the legacy BackOffice. These integrations included accounting, payroll, stock record, OFAC, commission management, and document storage.

The result of this project was a set of orchestrations and assemblies that automated and standardized common tasks that were needed for each application within the BizTalk environment.

BizTalk Developer
Designed and developed a reusable integration that facilitated the synching of data between CRM systems and Microsoft Exchange. This system enabled the synching of contact information between a proprietary contact management system and the Exchange server in a message based fashion. The system provided two-way synching and provided a conflict resolution module that allowed users to intervene on messages that were in conflict. This system replaced the need to purchase a commercial off the shelf solution that was estimated to cost 500K for purchase and integration.

Led the effort to adopt BizTalk Server 2006 into the enterprise. This effort consisted of the evaluation of the new features of BizTalk Server 2006, the creation of the business case, and the creation of an adoption plan. Executed the adoption plan while training operational staff on how to install the BizTalk Runtime as well as training developers on the new BizTalk version. The results of this project led to the successful adoption of BizTalk Server 2006 as well as the conversion of all existing assets to BizTalk Server 2006.

Designed and developed a reporting portal for enterprise wide use. This portal provided access to reports while also enforcing authentication and authorization.
