OBJECTIVE

To secure a management position within the transportation/defense industry, by applying my knowledge and skill set with all aspects of export management. 

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Operations

·         Controlled the day-to-day export traffic operations for the all AS Sector programs, including F-35, Global Hawk, and NATO AGS programs, whose 2014 exports totaled $60M.

·         Created and maintained Sector and Divisional command media as it relates to the Traffic/Shipping department.

·         Successfully exported a $58M Euro Hawk UAV to Germany, including all ground station elements, ensuring all ITAR/Customs/NSA/DSS requirements were met.

·         Helped obtain Facility Clearances at two Exel Global Logistics location as FSO.  Had day-to-day contact with the DSS to facilitate the new FCLs according to the standards of the National Industry Security Program (NISPOM).  Obtained JPAS access and fluent training during this process.

Management

·         Main traffic focal point for assessments pertaining to external and internal EAR/ ITAR audits.

·         Ensured all foreign and federal regulatory guidelines were followed in the export process, i.e. FTR, EAR and ITAR, especially during Export Control Reform for USML VIII(h) and XI(c).

·         Gatekeeper for all DSP and Commerce Licenses, including balance tracking and expiration date monitoring.

·         Was lead traffic representative in the implementation of GTS, an SAP-based application that effectively manages exports/imports electronically.

·         Responsible for negotiating rates/tariffs with carriers/freight forwarders to monitor effective and adequate service and provide feedback/corrective action plans based on performance criteria.

·         Served as the TSA Security Coordinator for Exel Global Logistics. Duties included managing the Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Programs (IACSSP) for 5 Exel locations, including Security Threat Assessment applications, updates to IACSSP and TSA audits.
