Description: System being built to be used by employees, agents and customers of IFLI to buy/sell insurance products and manage pre-sales / post-sales business process like lead management, call center etc. It’s a large enterprise system distributed and will replace 30+ applications for IndiaFirstLife.  JAVA is the primary programming languages used with Spring as the framework. The database layer is abstracted (currently it is SQL Server) using Hibernate for data-access. Business logic is encapsulated through RESTful Web Service layer and used across both Web and Mobile platform.

Responsibilities:

·         Defined RESTful API components on these design principles - separation of concern, proxy layer between client interface & service implementation, secure access and SQL injection preventions

·         Enforced Governance of RESTful API components following common standards, re-usability and consolidation of functionalities.

  1. Accounts Receivable Transformation: It was an initial Scoping and Solutioning project to transform Best Buy’s current manual effort in creating invoices, track receivables and manage collections into a fully automated business process using Oracle Financial Tools (primarily Account Receivable).
  2. Kiosk Integration: Systematic integration of sales, inventory and pricing data between Best Buy systems and Kiosks which are run by third party vendors. It was needed to optimize inventory stock and increase sales.

Responsibilities:
