Developed Y2K porting strategy and architecture (Barclays Global Investors, San Francisco CA, 1998) Part of a small team of developers conducting an aggressively scheduled cutover from ISAM data storage to relational database technology in support of Y2K conversion and validation. Solely responsible for the implementation of a library of classes that replicated the existing ISAM call interface. This resulted in a change of plan that allowed completion of the effort in far less time than was scheduled and resulted in a cost savings of over $250,000.
