Manager's Year-end Summary of Results Achieved (20012)

Michael worked with numerous teams within TWC to meet project deliverance.  Michael worked on port changes –some very old, undocumented, legacy head-end management work for the TWA VOD complex.  This work was to address outage, lack of documentation, and to better equip the team to respond to this type of service outage.  He shows a good focus on the needs of his customers and of TWC’s customers. Michael was involved in the various aspects of TWA SDV launching migration in TWA sites, (this aligned hubs with assigned ip address space and provided redundancy to VOD platform), DWDM port naming for all router connections, Juniper BCS network install etc. He coordinated with the Head-end group and others on the team to configure, prep, and install network equipment to support this project.  Michael was also working on installing additional sup-720 modules in the 7606 video routers to provide better availability on some of our dense hub sites. I think Michael performed Very well with a number of various types of outage response in his job responsibility.

Michael is a positive figure in the office – greeting and smiling – there is a good energy and work attitude with Michael.  This show is his dealing with others, vendors, and at different company/group events – luncheons, Engineering Fun Days, dinners, etc.

Cooworker’s e-mail to my Manager. (2012)

Michael has been a great help working through all the CMTS migration to NGRA. He has been well prepared, stayed up late and worked through some unforeseen changes real-time at 3 AM with no problems.
