●        Developing parts of https://www.247waiter.com. This is a port and expansion of the current application from PHP to Go, with related client side support apps for printing and POS in C# and Swift.

Arcode Corporation | 2012 - 2013

●        Built a customized version of Chromium for housing our desktop application, including OS specific customizations.

●        Rebuilt the storage / caching backend with sqlite.

●        Customized python for iOS and Android and creating tooling stacks for it.

●        Developed the unreleased Winamp Cloud Platform.

●        Worked on various shipped Winamp projects including the Windows, Mac and Android clients, as well as the Shoutcast and Winamp sites.

Robert Melton Consulting @ Riot Games (League of Legends) | 2010 - 2012

Role: lead developer. Tech: erlang, java, xslt.

●        Reworked the login and matchmaking system allowing the 30+ million monthly players to be able to actually log in and play games.

IXI Corporation | 2009 - 2010

Roles: senior developer, lead developer. Tech: c, c#, c++, hg, memcache, mssql, svn, vss, wcf.

●        Built an application for getting credit report information using zip plus four in real time. This included a custom port of memcache, and RESTful IIS module to increase performance and access to it. This product does more than a 1B+ hits a day in under 30 ms per hit.

●        Improvements (4x speed improvement) to core data ingestion engine.

Sane Built | 2009 -

Roles: founder, lead developer. Tech: erlang, go, perl, postgresql, xslt.

●        Developing a resume entry and automation package for keeping resumes synced on dozens of job sites.

●        Developed an application that does lexical semantic watermarking for identification of text documents that survives the OCR attack and fails gracefully.

Eagle Publishing | 2007 - 2009

Roles: developer, lead developer. Tech: asp (classic), asp.net, c#, django, git, javascript, lua, memcached, mysql, perl, php, python, svn, wordpress, xslt.

●        Built a common SOA infrastructure for most (over 70) sites and ported them to it. Also built a common theming and render engine on XSLT that supported chaining.

●        Converted Redstate from Django to Wordpress with custom performance optimizations.

Technology Brokerage Group (TelcoIQ) | 2006 - 2007

Role: lead developer. Tech: postgresql, rails, ruby, svn.

●        Designed and developed the primarily application so successfully that full time developers were no longer required. SOA design that included consumption of outside data (web APIs, website scraping, multiple data files), wire tracing and pricing, order modification and discounting, automatic email-interaction, and billing.

●        Built and deployed command center software for monitoring networks of cameras for FBI, SS, DC Police, St. Paul Capitol Police and Miami Dade Police.
