Requirements Lead/Manager. aVenture Technologies (a subsidiary of ActioNet), Vienna, VA. November 2015 – Present. Under contract to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) – Defense Medical Information Exchange (DMIX) Re-engineering Maintenance and Migration Support contract. The DMIX program tasked SPAWAR to provide engineering and programmatic support for the maintenance and re-engineering of the Data Adaptors/Viewers systems maintained under the umbrella of the Defense Healthcare Management system Modernization (DHMSM) and the James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center (JALFHCC).

 

As Requirements Lead, implemented, managed, and executed Agile based requirements management process to support the enhancement, development, maintenance, and migration of the DMIX applications. Also functioned as prime vendor lead manager for onsite employees.

The JALFHCC North Chicago project, under the Department of Defense/Veterans Administration (DoD/VA) Sharing Initiative, was a $100 million joint effort to provide healthcare to active duty, retired, and veteran’s populations under one roof. Records are retrieved, shared, updated, and returned regardless of the system of origin. The project phased capabilities included: Single Patient Registration (SPR), Single Sign-On/Context Management, Orders Portability (OP) for Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, & Consults, and Financial Management.

 

  • Successfully managed the Imagine One Program Support contract to SPAWAR in support of their tasking on the overall JALFHCC Project, delivered the sustainment documentation for successful transition into sustainment status.
