Lead UI Developer

▪ Worked on the complete software development life-cycle from meeting with clients to gather requirements, software architecture, development, through deployment, documentation and testing.

2013 - Present

Citizens Bank    

Worked on customer facing online banking application as a full stack developer, designed and developed all aspect of web application from the ground. Worked on migrating server side rendering technologies like JSPs to client side rendering where web views are separated out and function as a standalone application using JavaScript MVC framework. This SPA  pages  leverages RESTful services  to communicates with backend.

Recently worked on ES6 module based application leveraging webpack as module loader and bundler. Node JS became the primary requirement used to drive the unit test cases and documentation. Primarily used NPM packages to create or support features and enable the module loader to handle both ES6 and npm modules.

Managed two development teams in parallel that enable new developments and support the BAU activities. Involved in Requirement gathering and designing UI components with ADA standards, Developed and maintained UI and legacy pages (ES6, Backbone and JSP’s), Managed huge stylesheets using SASS and BEM, Automated Unit test cases (Karma, Test runner, Jasmine framework), Created build scripts on webpack and grunt, Enabled peers Code reviews (Jira and Crucible), Integrate web views with RESTful web services, Proposed design solutions to BL and active player in Agile scrum (backlog refining and grooming, sprint planning, demo sessions etc.).

Sears

Worked with client to design and develop project management tool to track the different activities across projects that follow the water fall model. This app built upon spring MVC framework and uses MySQL for data management. The reporting process has been automated and alerts has been generated to notify clients.

Involved in requirement gathering and analysis, design and development (Front end screens with struts and integrated web services using spring framework), Data management, testing and integration, production release and support.

2008 - 2012

Delhaize Americas

The objective of this project is to integrate supply chain system of all operating companies under the Delhaize US banner.

Designed, implemented multiple web projects, customized company-wide intranet sites, Managed development team, oversaw project schedules and scoped/designed requirements as needed. Developed programs on online and batch processing for zOS operating system. Created many internal tools using REXX that helps speed-up development and self-testing. Worked on reporting process and generated many customized reports using easytrieve.

Implemented SDLC activities such as development, testing, implementation and support, participated on knowledge management activities, Involved in requirement analysis, high level design, estimation, design review, mentoring, scheduling, tracking and co-ordination with onshore and offshore teams.
