Tampa Office Operations Manager
Project Summary: - Provided Management support for Tampa Office Operations dealing with MetLife’s Tricare project. MetLife was awarded the 5 year contract to process the Tricare Dental Claims for the Military. This project required Secret Security Clearance from the Department of Defense for all individuals interacting with the Tricare Dental data on the MetLife system. This required the existing PM team which was located offshore to be reassigned, due to Department of Defense requirements, and a whole new team constructed for the production support of the MetLife systems containing Tricare data. Started out as a Associate providing mainframe business applications developer programming for the Unified Inforce System utilizing z/OS CICS/COBOL, DB2, MQ Series – after a few months I was promoted to Tampa office Operations Manager after management observed my leadership and office staff coming to me for technical advice as well as having management background.

Analyze and Implement CICS Web Servicing on a z/VSE system platform
· Implemented Web Servicing for Pasco’s PAPA (Property Appraiser Permitting Application) web application in which field inspectors could, by using the PAPA web app, request a building inspection from their Mobile device or PC, which I configured as a Mainframe web service to update the Central Permitting Systems Datacom database. Used z/VSE SOAP Engine as the web service provider and worked with IBM Java Utilities in configuration process. Was in the process of creating the configuration for using the z/VSE SOAP Engine as the Web Service Requestor allowing CICS to request web services from their Criminal Case software used by the Judges during courtroom proceedings.
Document all of Pasco County’s Criminal & Juvenile Justice Information Systems
· Created 6000 row spreadsheet of all programs in the system, grouped by sub-system, cross referencing associated maps, map functions, system function, Pgm function and database tables contained within each program thereby allowing, by drop down box, to perform custom searches on any of the variables associated in the cross reference decreasing time to identify programs, databases, maps and reports associated with a particular production problem to within less than a minute.
· Created SQL Server Data Mart of all databases within the Criminal & Juvenile Justice mainframe systems which entailed analyzing the Datacom DB file structures and business logic and splitting out the files to SQL Server tables and maintaining reference to original Datacom DB record keys for verifying data integrity.
