managing healthcare through Prescription drugs. Medicare and Medicaid
are huge parts of this account. Through regulatory and compliance issues, as
well as code enhancements, the task was to incorporate changes into
Express Scripts software. ESI has very aggressive release schedules, with
releases of various ‘projects’ each month. Projects responsible for Diabetic
Ace; Medicare Coverage Gap; PA Identifiers and AWP-CBA Assignments

Documented the Software Architecture Document (SAD) for NASCO and ITS release 10.0; 10.1
and 10.2. (These releases effected large complex COBOL mainframe systems using ENDEVOR
for change control. The changes were to add a POA indicator, reformat the Seq-Num, allow future
dated zero charge Medicare Advantage Home health claims and converted IMS databases to
DB2). I installed third party software (ITS components) on the mainframe and audited and
tested the FACILITY side of the system after installation. (ITS is the common language, data
formats, software and procedures that allow Plans to access, send, receive and control claim
information). These components interfaced with the Professional, P&A and Home Plan Aid
systems via multi-level sub-routines, copybooks and PROCs. My other responsibilities included
· Documenting technical specs from Use Case documents using Rational Rose for each
program, PROC, JCL and MFS screen
· Analyzing and modifying FACILITY programs, PROCs, JCL and COPYLIB members

WHAT-IF project. As part of the project, reverse engineered VBASS sub-systems
(Chassis, CPOS, Chassis Adjustments, Calendar, PBRS, Work to Static and Schedule)
and documented using VISIO, PowerDesigner and MSOffice. Designed, developed, tested
and implemented a process to correct differences in the adjustment process of the VBASS
system. This after doing a Root Cause Analysis to determine why authorizations on the IMS
database did not match the DB2 Authorization Table. This analysis crossed multiple sub-systems
(Volume planning, Marketing and Sales, Order Counts and Plant Cycle Time). Databases, tables
and FTP files interfaced with the various systems. (Some files were created via MFS online
screens.)

systems (Dealer Services, Warranty, COIN and others) for further processing. ETL project.
