·         Subscription Management System (SMS) à This UI was developed to support marketing and servicing subscriptions of the company’s fund related documents. This project has integration points with Exact Target (email marketing tool), MS CRM, and public facing sites of the company. This project is a responsive UI targeting mobiles, tablets, and desktops. This UI is further being extended to support subscriptions for global sites. This UI uses Single Page Application architecture and extensive usage of AJAX calls for a better UX.

·         SMS Fulfillment & Administration Utility à This tool was developed for the administrators and the business users to centrally manage all the emails sent to individual subscribers based upon their subscriptions. This utility also supports features like BulkUpload, download list of subscribers, and other reports that are commonly referred by business users and admins frequently.

·         Business Continuity Program (BCP) à This UI was created to be used by the business users and the end clients of the company to update their contact information in a secure way. Each user was sent out a unique email code and an encrypted link to open and update their contact information. Security was the biggest concern on this project that was addressed through encryption, authentication and authorization at every request.

·         Data Sync Utility à This SSIS package developed using SSDT 2014 was developed as a single package to support syncing up of a database from 2 configurable source databases. This package was developed in a way that Data Flow Tasks were created at runtime to explicitly include/exclude any table from the sync process. This package also had the option of adding multiple schedules (like daily, hourly) for any table to be synced.

·         Enhance and Support investments.pimco.com à investments.pimco.com was developed as a public interface of all the product lines and products of the business. This site was developed on MOSS 2007.

·         Environment Management Portal (EMP) à This project is an initiative for managing the dependencies of various projects and ensuring a smooth execution of all test phases of a project.  Few considerations of the application.

-      Every project has multiple applications and test phases.

-      Each application on a project can reside on one or more environments/regions.

-      Each environment/region can have events associated for a time-frame.

·         Test Data Management (TDM) à This project is developed as a BPM (Business Process Management) and BRE (Business Rule Engine) tool for automating the workflow for managing test data across different environments. The TDM application involves multiple groups within the organization and tracks the entire approval process whenever any test data has to be pushed from one environment to another. The application has a custom built-in workflow engine which is configurable by changing the respective XML.

·         Online Account Opening (OAO) à This project is an initiative for providing a feature of opening bank accounts online. The project had numerous integrations with third parties (Third party names confidential). The project enabled users to open Savings and Current accounts. This project also enabled users to open an account within few minutes by providing their personal and credit details. The details of users like personal checks, credit ratings were being managed by integrations with external parties (names confidential). After go-live, this project has entered into a support phase, wherein, the core team works on enhancements and defect fixing..

·         Store Locator à This project is developed for smartphones (including Mobile devices and Tablets). This project is developed as a web application. The current location of the device is read using Geolocation APIs and lists of all stores in the nearby area are retrieved and shown to the user. The user also has an ability to search within the results.

·         iCalendar Enhancements à This project is an enhancement to add new features in an existing application. The new features included the following.

-      Introduction of a graphical calendar view for viewing/booking appointments

-      Enabling the US users to use the application in English and French languages

-      Enabling cross-border bookings (booking a user from US to Canada geography and vice versa)

-      Support for sending, reading emails from/to Exchange Server

-      Enabling the application to support user authentication from multiple Active Directory servers

·         HCAI Reintroduction à This project was an initiative to resolve performance issues in an existing application so that the application can be brought live to Production again. As part of the performance remediation measure, some of the measures that were taken were:

o   Re-design of the application

o   Modernization of the technology stack to leverage new features. (WCF with nettcpbinding, SQL 2005 native encryption, etc.)

o   Code optimization (C# and T-SQL)

o   Hardware upgradation

o   Tuning of the application and web servers

o   Performance testing the application

o   Passing a third-party audit to get a go-ahead for the application go-live

Post go-live, the application underwent a normal support phase with a quarterly release model. The support phase included functional remediation, enhancements and operations management.

·         HostControls Single Sign-on à This web application is an initiative to avoid having multiple interfaces for logging in conferences, which are hosted on distinct bridges. This application acts as a single sign-on application, wherein, users can enter their conference details and get connected to their respective conferences, irrespective of where the conference is hosted.

·         Backoffice Metrics à This tool is a web application which is used by the IT operations team to monitor the various services, across all the scattered geographic regions. This application shows a real time status of all the service within a region. The user is not required to refresh the web page to get the real time status of a region, instead, the application automatically refreshes the web page whenever the status of a service changes. This application uses AJAX at the application level for refreshing the page without a complete page postback and a Windows service, which serves as a data store for the web application. The Windows service acts not only acts as a repository and gathers data from different geographies but also eliminates the need of hitting the production databases on every request of the refreshed data in a multi-user environment.

·         HireZone à This project is made to assist the Hiring department of Sapient to create requisitions, align candidates to requisitions and further track the candidates during their interview process and then till the point where they are hired. This project has capabilities to automatically export data to other applications like NHI (New Hire Integration), RC (Recruiting Co-ordination). This project uses Pivot-based Excel for Reporting. This project is a customized SharePoint solution and uses the SharePoint Object Model to pull/push data from/to SharePoint.

·         Forms Creator Component à This .NET component is made to run as a COM component for the existing product MDRhythmâ. This component is XML based and an XML Schema represents a Form. The component has the capabilities of Saving the form in the database as an XML file. Also, this component has the capability of Quick-saving the form on the local Hard Disk to avoid Data loss in case of Database connection failure. The component also can Print the dynamically generated Form.

·         Clinical Data Management System (Phase–I trial) à The Software is made to Capture and Clean the Data entered on Case Report Forms (CRF), into the database. The Software is compliant with 21 CFR Part-11, which is designed for a Phase I Clinical Trial conducted at multiple Institutions in USA. It is designed to capture the CRF to ensure correctness of the data using the concept of Double Data entry with Interactive verification. Software has the capabilities to generate Audit Trails, Query Forms using MS-Word, Query Resolution, reading MS-Excel. It has an In Built capability to transfer the data in MS-Excel Files. The software is design to load and Program the WHO-DRUG (Version Q3 2005) and MedDRA (version 8.0) Dictionaries for Concomitant Medications and Adverse Events Terminologies respectively. These dictionaries are implemented as Web Services, which can be shared across multiple data management projects.

·         MDRhythmâ (Healthcare Billing and Office Management) à MDRhythm® is a comprehensive, full-featured Healthcare Practice and Billing Management System available today. MDRhythm® is a Microsoft Windows based software designed with significant input from practicing medical professionals, to address many of today’s clinical practice management challenges. All functions are designed to provide solutions to increase office productivity and efficiency. MDRhythm® has more than 500 installations all over the USA. MDRhythm® has capabilities of creating HIPAA compliant 837 ANSI files and processing the reports sent by the insurance companies in lieu of 837 file, like Claims Detail Response Reports, 997, 835 etc. It has integrated capabilities of sending and receiving Faxes. Software allows scanning options from all Twain Compliant Scanners. It has highly integrated Document Control system, which helps to create Paperless Office environment.

Projects:

·         Tracking, Monitoring & Analysis of Call Center Operations à This application is used for the Call Center. The basic purpose of this software is to reduce the time required to collect, process and monitor online sales, which were done by the Agents. Also there were other components added to the software, like filtering of the Lead Lists, etc. Some of the features of this software are

-      Filtering and Auto generation of a Lead list, which is to be fed to the Dialer for Dialing.

-      Pop up of a semi completed form as a call is diverted to the Agent’s PC.

-      Provision of saving the call data; after the Agent fills in the complete details on the form.

-      Auto Generation of .doc to be sent to the Client at the end of the day.

-      Auto Generation of .xls files for each call taken by the Agent (for sending to the client).

-      Real time Analysis of overall sales, categorized on Campaign basis.

-      Auto saving of the various statuses of the calls taken by the Agents for billing purposes.

-      Online Monitoring of the Idle, On Call, etc. timings of the Agents.

-      Raising Alarms to the respective Team Leads, whenever an Idle Timeout is detected (on an Agent’s Desk) for a predefined amount of time.
