Architected and led development of an application for customers and internal analysts to compare product pricing and view savings. The application also leveraged a custom implementation of the Levenshtein distance formula to perform textual comparison of product information to determine potential matches. The application was developed with SQL, SQL custom assemblies, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Unity, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, jQuery, Microsoft Unit Testing framework, several multi-threaded console applications for scheduled data processing.

 

Project – “Complete Enterprise Backoffice Solution for spin-off”

Architected and led development of a secure web-based application hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The application provided line of business functionality such as customer registration and maintenance, supplier and contract maintenance, data load for sales reporting, and revenue and fee-share calculations.  Performed many of the Operations and DevOps functions to establish DEV, TEST, and PROD environment on the Microsoft Azure platform. Established continuous integration pattern and configuration using Visual Studio Online to perform build, execute unit tests, and deploy code to Azure application servers automatically upon code check-in. The application also provided integration with Salesforce via the Salesforce web service API. Architected and led development of a secure public-facing, web-based application for customers and partners to login and view various pieces of data. The application was secured with enterprise single sign-on (SSO) and also provided integration with Salesforce for the creation of opportunities and task via the Salesforce web service API. Architected and led development of an internal application for the accounting department to calculate revenue to be shared with partners based on legal agreements. Project – “Team Foundation Server (TFS) Consolidation and upgrade”

Lead the effort and performed the necessary tasks to consolidate source code for several team project collections hosted on TFS2010 and TFS2012 into a single instance hosted on TFS2013. Also prototyped full continuous integration with TFS2013 by enabling automatic builds and using Microsoft Release Management v1 for automated deployment.

Developed a public-facing, web application that allowed new customers to sign-up for membership. The application was developed with ASP.NET MVC, WCF web services, and SQL.

 

Project – “Cash Entry”

Architected and developed an internal, web-based application for the accounting department allowing for detailed input and allocation of all incoming cash into the enterprise. The application also performed periodic reconciliation of data against an external sales reporting system. Each month, several millions of dollars are input into the application before being passed to the Lawson ERP software. The application was developed with ASP.NET, SOAP web services, HTTP handlers, and SQL.

 

Project – “Goal Tracker”

Architected and developed an internal, web-based application for the finance department to maintain data and statistics related to corporate goals. Corporate goals and their related statistics are used to determine annual bonus compensation for employees. The application was developed with ASP.NET, SharePoint WebParts, Microsoft Office Chart controls, HTTP handlers, SOAP web services, and SQL. Also created a linear regression trending algorithm allowing prediction of data based on 2 or more existing values.
