Richard Rutenberg
Objective Accomplished networking, systems and software engineer seeking to leverage extensive background in information technology as well as voice & data communications and software development through a permanent position.
Summary In 2014 I returned to Haverford Pennsylvania after working as a systems and networking engineer for Cisco Systems in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. I worked in Cisco TAC, HTTS (Advanced Services), and with CALO (Cisco Labs). During my employment with Cisco Systems, I had the opportunity to work hands-on supporting the majority of their product lines including routing, switching, wireless, voice and collaboration, CMTS/broadband cable, Nexus data-center networking, security and network management.
I provided professional services to other Cisco engineers as well as partners and customers that utilized Cisco's portfolio of network management products to operate and maintain their networks worldwide.
Since my return I've completed training for Entrepreneurship through University of the Arts at Corzo Center's Boot Camp. I've been trained at Philadelphia’s NextFab to use next-generation digital design and fabrication technologies. I am currently using these tools to renovate a 118 year old building in Bryn Mawr.
