Consultant for various project work through out Ohio. Assignments can be as simple as a desktop setup to data center implementations of various network devices. WIPRO/Mcclatchy Services Lead Consultant 2018-Present
Lead/Mentor/Train a team of 10+ technicians for the security and network containers. Provide level 3/4 support for all network and security related services. Technology consist of cisco ASAs, Fortigate firewalls, Cisco switches, F5 load balancers A10 load balancers. Solarwinds, nessuss scans, QRadar, tipping point IPS and any other random hardware or software as the customer expands their business. Perform leadership functions such as a team reog to stream line duplicate efforts. Write new process to eliminate confusion with customer and provide a straight forward problem identification and resolution.

CBTS GE Contract Network Security Architect – 2015-2018
Consultant for CBTS for support of GE on the Acquisition & Divestures team. Work with various teams throughout the GE environment to ensure a smooth transition for the acquiring/ed company. Provide network and firewall support (ASA, CheckPoint PaloAlto and Junipers) and design as needed for local and cloud solutions. Projects can be as simple as providing routing and a new firewall context. To more complicated task with a complete cable plant install new routers switch firewalls and related equipment dealing with multiple teams vendors and project managers.
AT&T Network Engineer IV – 2008 - 2015
ATT Tier 4 firewall group works with the technical architects to solution designs for new customers. Main focus is cisco ASAs but routinely work on router, switches and load balancers to develop solutions to complex design issues. Manage multiple projects from a firewall standpoint to ensure proper equipment and supporting necessities such as cabling, power, and space requirements are accounted for. Projects included customers that required HIPAA and PCI regulatory guidelines
Verizon Business Network Engineer II – 2005-2008
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for customers from the Verizon NOC. Most customers were retail site DSL connections. Assisted with basic connectivity onsite to working with the various providers to solve connectivity issues. On larger sites would provide support on dedicate T1 and T3 connectivity.

Civilian contractor working with the army in the Kuwait theater. Instructor with the 335th providing network training for incoming personnel. 5 day class teaching basic networking, TCP/IP (including subnetting), basic router config, EIGRP, OSPF, and basic network security.
SEARS/Citicorp Network Manager 2000-2004
Managed the local network. Was the only tech on site, was responsible for PCs, printers, servers (COMPAQ and DELL), switches(3COM, CISCO 6500s) and monitored network connections. Managed all projects on the site from basic moves to the Sears to Citi conversion when Citicorp purchased the Sears credit card division.
