The project is carried on an SLA based 24X7 offshore and on-site model with a DBA team of 8 for the prod and non-production instances, including dba, sysadmin and technical support team which has more than 50 resources across the globe. All databases are registered with OEM Grid Control.  Monitoring the databases Using OEM, databases alerts use to come in On Call DBA (Mail Box).GE HealthCare is having two types of environments like validated and non validated environments. Each environment is having Stage, Development and Production. Some of the databases are (validated) qualified and some of the databases are (Non validated) non qualified. For qualified databases if any code change like patching, user creations, code deployments, parameter changes etc., need to raise a (FCC) Full Change Control for production, stage databases. It involves business, compliance and technology (DBA) team. Other than qualified databases need to raise (RCC) Release Change Control.  For Repetitive action need to raise (SRA) Standard Repetitive activity. Users use to notify the incidents using GRD (GetRDone) Tool.
