Project Description: Infrastructure Management Group manages KPs IT infrastructure and is primarily responsible for conducting and overseeing business specific projects and developing work plans to meet business priorities and organizational goals. As a Lead admin, my job was to make sure all the project deliverables are met.

Project Description: As part of the Leveraged DBA Support Team, the customer’s mission critical databases which were residing on Exadata and also other platforms were maintained. This also included several migration projects along with the day to day maintenance and proactive maintenance to meet customer’s needs.
Worked in the role of a Tech Lead / Delivery Lead in a team of about 30 DBAs managing the mission critical Exadata production machines of the customer. Supported the Exadata machines and the hosted databases of various applications belonging to the customer AMP, Australia. I was the Point of contact for any technical and operational issues around the maintenance of the Exa platrorms.

l Managed the Client’s Exadata X2-2, X3-2,X4 and X5 machines with different configurations like quarter/half/full racks.
l Managed/Applied Bundle and ESS Patches on Exadata Machines.

l Successfully implemented HCC (Hybrid Columnar Compression) which is an Exadata specific feature that contributed to saving the disk space for the customer for some of their Archival data as part of a Migration Project.
