Description of the project

The project involves the implementation Oracle Fusion accounting hub. Customizing the interfaces for the integrating with the legacy mainframe source systems. Journals are created in the PSFT GL.

Oracle Fusion and People Soft are integrated with ODI SOA/PIP architecture.

 

Responsibilities:

·         The project involved installation, development, planning, design and coding of various custom solutions as well as new enhancements and taking care of the release of custom code for Fusion Financials Module.

·         Designed and developed fast formulas for payroll process.

·         Designed and developed a custom workflow for Journal approval process.

The project involved the implementation of Financials Accounting Hub for processing the Events and deriving the accounting rule. The Ledgers are validated and posted in People soft. AIA PIP architecture was used to transfer the ledgers from FAH to PeopleSoft

This involved modifying the custom solution to make them work on R12 platform, bring new and advanced features into use so as to benefit the client. As a Software Engineer, the responsibilities were supporting modules like GL, AP and AR. was involved in the Development Activities, Release Activities and Migration Activities coordinating with offshore for smooth running of the project.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Development of concurrent program to extract date from the Oracle database to .csv files to be loaded in to the legacy database by using UTL_FILE.

·         The R12 migration of all the Oracle modules was carried out successfully from 11i. This involved modifying the custom solution to make them work on R12 platform, bring new and advanced features into use so as to benefit the client

·         Custom P2P(Procure to pay) Process: The process of procuring material from the organization and getting paid for the process of handling material .This process picks the PO’s which have AP invoice option defined in DFF and create Requisitions and creates against the Supplier.
