January 1999 to May 2017 – ALE USA Inc (a Telecom Company)

Programmer/Business Analyst, BI Developer, Manager

Responsible for worldwide ERP, Agile application and customer service applications for all North American developed systems (“ Supply Chain”, GL, AP, AR, Order Entry, WEB, Sales, Engr, Mfg, FA, PO, Customer Service, Sales Force Automation, Logistics,WIP, E-commerce…). Developed hundreds of managerial SQL and Cognos reports.  Setup Agile parts, ECOs, Related Docs, etc… Directed a team of 20 contractors,  programmer/analyst/managers locally and 4 others in various parts of the US and Europe in system upgrades, B2B with SAP IDOC, and support activities.  Responsible for build/buy decisions – examples are purchases of Doors, Agile, Oracle packages, Sun Hardware, End-User computers.  The Oracle Application suite is a centralized system supporting all US locations (in most states) as well as operations in Europe, South America, and Asia.  Project leader and architect for Alcatel’s award-winning Direct Order Fulfillment (DOF) Expert AI supply chain system (for outsourced manufacturing). This system was picked by Alcatel corporate Audit team as a model for best practices.  Project lead in implementing SOX compliance processes. 

 

September 1997 to January 1999 – PHARMANEX, INC.                 

Director of Information Technology

Responsible for all IT functions.  Implemented the full suite of Oracle Applications.  Consultant to all levels of management.  Pharmanex provided natural drugs from China (Ginko Biloba for example). I started out solo and then added a programmer.  I did all the hardware/software contracts, buys, budgeting, installations, data base maintenance, LAN services, WEB services, EDI and help desk support.  I also set policies and procedures and ran the Information Technology council until it was subsequently sold to NuSkin and moved the operations to Utah.

 

 

March 1995 to September 1997 – XIRCOM CORPORATION

Managed a small team of programmer/analyst and implemented Oracle Applications worldwide (Belgium, Malaysia, US).  Analyst for the financial applications – designed and supported EIS system for the financial department.  Purchased and installed Agile application to handle engineering changes.

 

August 1990 to March 1995 – MICROPOLIS CORPORATION        

Technologies Manager and Senior Applications Consultant

Managed computer operations, networks, telephony and desktop operations – also was applications project manager for Oracle ERP.  Implemented video conferencing and Oracle financials worldwide.
