· Led $25M data optimization project. Managed requirement development, evaluation, testing, proof of concept and implementation of the solution into VZW’s infrastructure. Led the testing and documentation of the effects of data optimization techniques on the user experience, up to 25% enhanced performance, and drop to latency. Estimated reduction of wireless and wireline resource utilization for same tasks performed, translating in to operations cost reduction.

BlackBerry – Infrastructure Network Architect, Ontario, Canada, 08/2010 – 08/2012
Led the development, evaluation, proof of concept and deployment of an end-to-end dynamic flow control software solution to enforce mobile data usage limits.
· Introduced a dynamic flow control mechanism to enforce traffic management policy for applications on mobile devices, and limit data flow between devices and BBY infrastructure. The mechanism decreased infrastructure performance degradation, and enabled the dynamic management of data traffic flow based on infrastructure conditions with adjustable criteria. Patent: 2013/0188485 – Communication Device for Throttling Transmitted Data.
· Evaluated business and global infrastructure architecture supporting mobile data and applications. Performed gap analysis, created process improvement recommendations, evaluated infrastructure and data center planning tools to improve performance and address business stakeholder concerns.
iBAHN – Sr. Architect, Advanced Technologies, Salt Lake City, UT, 09/2005 – 06/2007
Reported to the CTO and led an initiative shaping iBAHN’s 3-5year technology strategy in accordance with business vision. Created technology roadmaps utilizing Gartner/Burton research data, market analysis and client feedback from interviews and questionnaires. Developed migration plans to targeted architecture.
