Mortgage Processing Express(MPX) for JP Morgan Chase

 

Environment : Progress 4GL OpenEdge and PRO2

 

Description :

 

MPX is the Internal Mortgage Originations System. This hosts a loan origination system, which integrates with MIS, MyCM, MAX, LPP, OnBase, Sonic and other Modules. It allows Business users to process the Loan Application, and generates closing documents. The Project is driven by Agile Methodology. PRO2 Application replicates Data from MPX to MIS Reporting System.

 

Role: Senior Consultant

 

Responsibilities : Requirement Analysis, Impact analysis, Issue Triaging, Attend Grooming along with ITBA, Business, and Testing team, Designing, Development and showing Demo with all the Stake Holders, Coordinating the information and knowledge sharing within the Team and with other Sprint teams, Coordinating Deployments with various teams involved, Training New Resources and deploying them in Project.

 

Nature of work involves right from Gathering Business Requirements, Design, Coding, Testing, Peer Review and Documentation for New functional changes, small Enhancements, Bug fixes and developing new modules as per Business requirements.

The nature of work involves analyzing the Issues, providing clarification to the users, fixing the issues if required, modifying the programs as per business needs, coordinating with the team members.

Responsibilities:

o    Technical lead for a team of 4 members           

o    Gathered User requirements and prepared Software Requirements Specification.

Migration to eB2.1 and core Implementation for Avery Dennison

Environment: MfgPro and Progress 4GL           

Description:

            IT Standardization project is for migrating eB2 version in to eB2.1 by modifying the existing customized programs to take care of new concepts like Domain. The Programs are also modified to take care of new modules (Consignment, Logistics, etc) that will be used henceforth. New enhancements and business changes requested by the users are incorporated in the existing Programs and few new programs are also developed. Data Download from eB2 and upload into eB2.1 is also done by using newly developed Extract and Upload Programs.

 

Responsibilities:                    

            Preparing Design Document and TCD, Coding, Testing and updating Test Case Results Document, User Manual Preparation, Implementation, Data Extraction from eB2 Server, Data Upload in eB2.1 Server.

Enterprise Asset Management  for Visteon, Detroit

Environment: QAD, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)           

Description:

EAM is a QAD application for maintaining the MRO items of a manufacturing company. It has been implemented for Visteon(Detroit) by QAD and supported by Satyam. Support includes monitoring the Batch jobs regularly and resolving any tickets arising out of the application by any type of users. Acquired knowledge of EAM application within a short period and resolved the tickets within SLA.

      Monitoring and resolving tickets arising for all types of Users.

FDM Harmony – Enhancements for Hindustan Unilever Ltd.

Environment:     Mfg/Pro(QAD) and Progress 4GL

Role:

Description:

HUL is using a Customized Mfg/Pro for its Sales and Distribution and based on the changes in Business, there are requirements, which come up often for enhancing, fine-tuning or modifying the existing system. Such changes are analyzed and the respective programs are modified on timely-basis for the smooth functionality of the Business.

Platform Upgradation and Maintenance Architecture for Hewlett-Packard

Environment:   Mfg/Pro, Progress 4GL, Unix

Description:

     

            PUMA is the After Sales Service module of Hewlett-Packard. The application handles the call management activities when the customer reports any hardware problem. Each call goes through various status based on the service type and the warranty type. The application also interacts with the other applications for synchronization of the call details.

     

            Based on the changes in the Business, requirement will arise to change the functionality of some programs. Such changes are analyzed and the respective programs are modified.
