Ø Business Unit Director for North and South America: Led an $8 - $10 million region of a $30 million dollar global business unit. Controlled costs in region to exceed GM and EBIT goals which included rightsizing inventory, reducing total on-hand by 35% while increasing on-hand of large turn, quick delivery, high margin items. Manufacturing Cell also fabricated and tested ASME Sect. VIII Div. 1 pressure vessels and B31.3 piping. Lean initiatives were constantly used as examples for the other regions.

Ø Scope Review and Planning: Reviewed Order Entry and Customer Specifications to develop work plan assuring quality and on-time delivery while verifying that cost estimate was accurate.

Ø Mechanical Design: Performed pressure vessel calculations, internal and external structure calculations, specifying PWHT, WPS/PQR, RT, PT, UT, other NDT, hydrostatic pressure test instructions, and documentation requirements.
Ø ASME Sect. VIII, Div. 1: Researched BPV Code and worked closely with AI in order to properly design one-off housings.
Ø Job Order and BOM: Created Job Order and BOM in ERP system and released to Manufacturing. Worked as a team with Manufacturing and other Project Managers to establish schedules and expedite projects for on-time delivery.
Ø Drafting: Used CAD software to create Approval, Fabrication, and Certified drawings.
Ø Purchasing: Identified and vetted third party suppliers. Created and placed RFQ’s. Awarded orders and placed purchase orders. Performed OSI and expedited delivery.
