A web-based educational application for educators to search information about the Holocaust, including over 2 millions videos, pictures, and documents. The application enables educators to create class material for high school students and keep track of students’ learning progress, while maintaining an accessible platform for students with unique login to learn at their own pace.

·         Project Manager (Scrum Master)/Architect for Digital Repository Management System(.NET 4.5 MVC, Web API (Token Authentication, CORS), AngularJS/Angular2, SAMFS, D3.js, ElasticSearch)

A web-based application system to access over 8 million files, videos, and pictures.  The application is a backup catalog for asset management for notable clients such as Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), USC-Shoah, and Baltimore Ravens, and allows users of the application to ingest/archive/edit videos, testimonies, and documents for iwitness site. Users can get the reports and data from data visualization dashboards from the web application and it is generated by D3js and SSRS.

·         Project Manager (Scrum Master)/Architect for Graduate School Website (Balsamiq, Mustache, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, WordPress, MongoDB)

·         Architect for PHD-Progress Application (.NET 4.5, Web API 2, EF6, Automapper, Wijmo SpreadSheet, Tableau, SSRS)

A web-based application for advisors to manage over 500,000 Ph.D. students’ information, including financial support/fellowship, Post Doc information, and placement data, successfully replacing the outdated MS Excel system.  Data Visualization Reports are generated using Tableau and SSRS.

A web-based application to handle over 1,000 students’ thesis per semester, including a committee approval workflow system, thesis submission to library, and a tracking system for students and administrators.

·         Technical Lead for ETL for Apply Yourself Data Feed (XML, SSIS, C#)

Redesigned an in-house application to manage over 30,000 students’ admission applications per month, including statements of purpose, recommendations letters, and financial statements.  A web-based user interface has been designed for the Deans and Board of Department Committee to search and retrieve students’ applications for review, decision-making, and strategic planning.

Oversaw web projects, enhancements, and production support efforts to meet business need and delivered on budget, time and function.  Coordinated team activities and schedules; provide feedback to line managers on team member performance.  Developed and maintained systems-related standards and procedures; led design and code reviews.  Managed onshore/offshore team and led the weekly team meeting to ensure the objectives were set and progress had been reviewed.  Planned, organized, supervised, and participated in the work of applications.

Project Lead (Scrum Master) for Honda intranet – Sales and Marketing Modules (.Net CMS – SiteCore, DataVisualization- D3js, SSRS, Tableau)

Participated in Honda intranet architect team to redesign the newer version of intranet framework. Managed onshore/offshore team to rewrite the Business Objective Module, which helped over 500 dealers to set up their sales objective and keep track of the sales data.  Architected a new Sales Report Module to handle over 100 reports about the sales and inventory data for over 500 dealers using SSRS, Tableau and D3.js.

Led web projects from design through deployment.  Made recommendations to development managers for maintenance and the enhancement of firm production applications.  Led and mentored other developers, while reviewing work to ensure their goals and objects had been met.  Researched new technologies and third-party software to meet business requirements.  Created, implemented, maintained web applications / web services / window services that increase applications performance and user productivity.

Project Lead / Architect for clientNET – CMS from Stretch (Scrum, .Net 4.0, WCF, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, .net remoting, SharePoint):

Reviewed and enhanced the framework of clientNET, a high traffic internet/intranet portal to connect clients and staff.  Architected the new Entity Framework to replace the existing ORM Layer.  Successfully enhanced the caching service window service to boost up the performance.  Enhanced bulk upload documents to efficiently upload entire folder of contents in one click.  Architected event calendar by using JQuery, AJAX/JSON and WCF for core calendar function to be accessed and utilized by other applications.

A web-based application with budget preparation, review and approval, PO and budget tracking for all projects in the firm. It provides managers a centralized platform to manage their project expenses and capital expenses.  The application handled over 1,000 spending projects last year.

·         Project Lead/Architect for Company Survey System (XML/XSLT, SSIS, SSRS)

A survey application for personnel development department to create various surveys (using XML/XSLT) to gather comments, suggestions, and responses as well as generate statistics/reports to improve the quality of the training classes.

·         Project Lead and Architect for In-house Partner Payroll System (.NET 3.5, Design Pattern)

A fully customized web-based application to handle payroll:  add shares, distributions, draws, deductions, auto deposit, and print checks.  It generates ACH files as it then joins with a customized program for bank transfer.  Since the application has been in place, it has managed over $500 million in payroll distribution.

·         Project Lead and Architect for Dining Room Touch Screen Application (.NET 3.5, OOP)

Replaced traditional pen-and-paper method that employees used to order food in the company’s dining room by using touch screen system and iPad.  Transactions are automatically submitted to the company’s financial and payroll systems.  Touch Screen Application set up to be used in all 17 of the company’s branches.

·         Architect for Email Distribution List Management System (ASP.NET 2.0, LDAP)

Managed over 2,000 email distribution lists through a simple user interface.  List owners can add/remove members.  All requests would go through review/approval process, enabling administrators to approve/reject requests.

·         Developer for OMMNet – Intranet site (SiteCore, Recommind, C#, CMS)

Developed/Integrated search engine recommend into the intranet. Developed the dashboard page and content management for the software development team.

·         Developer/Integrator for Single Sign-On Functionality (C#)

Enabled all employees to log in once to gain proper access to the resources of multiple Intranet/Internet sites without being prompted to log in multiple times.

Managed meetings with clients to obtain business requirements and define specifications.  Extensive experience with N-Tier application development including database schemas, database access layers, business layers, and user interfaces.
