The project involved newly developed logic and algorithms for price setting, refined mining of pricing analytics data, optimized code for product promotions, and migrating onto the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform. The project increased consumer sales on the Zappos website (that possesses tens of millions of retail products with a $2bn+ annual revenue) and reduced inventory costs at warehouses.
