The Pricing Consolidation project is a new system which will centralize and manage the pricing of items within the Home Depot enterprise.  Currently there are multiple systems of record and multiple business owners maintaining the pricing of an individual product.   This is causing inconsistencies and lack of visibility to the pricing of products across the numerous selling channels.  The objective of the Pricing Consolidation project is to eliminate these issues.   A new centralized system will be developed as a one stop shop to control the everyday and promotional pricing of products.  In this new system, pricing can be maintained at national, selling channel or location based levels.   Product pricing will be made available to all systems through the use of a new pub / sub model ensuring accurate and timely pricing.
