3. World Cup Business Reporting: World Cup refers to the major implant instruments having cup shaped structure (Hips, Knees and Extremities). The application was developed to perform the weekly forecasting about potential sales/deployment of these cups/instruments. Once forecasting is done, the actual sales value is compared with forecast values and various other metrics are derived. Forecasting is performed by several countries across the globe for all the concerned cups. Then their sales figures are extracted for comparison and analysis. This analysis is achieved through reports and dashboards developed in the application.

1. VSOE (Vendor Specific Objective Evidence) Compliance Reporting
VSOE is the fair value of software. It governs how any company that licenses, sells, leases or otherwise markets software must recognize the revenue. In particular, it governs how companies must recognize revenue from so-called “multiple-element arrangements” – bundles of software products and related services sold as a unit, at a single price. The project aims at making the ensuring compliance with VSOE norms and to ensure price consistency towards the end customers.
2. Global Trade Compliance Reporting
The project involved automation of all the manual processing in place for assimilation and reporting of client’s exports/shipments. To avoid manual interventions for the preparation of Global Trade Compliance reports, a centralized-single point data warehouse was created to keep all the export related data. Scheduled Jobs were created to extract the data daily from different source systems across the geographies. All the Compliance reports are then generated out of it and sent to the US government.
3. PRA (Pricing and Revenue Analytics):
To automate the process of analyzing, performing what if scenarios, compare their pricing with competitors, and share information in a secure environment that will allow complicated analysis to take place. The objective was to provide an environment to place external competitive data, client data, and 3rd party information in an environment that can be accessed, analyzed researched, sliced and diced, and provide the capability to establish the optimal pricing strategy for the client going forward.
