1.    Development support for New York Power Authority.

Project Description: as a part of development support team created multiple development objects and provided support for SAP applications at NYPA.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Created Start and End Routines for BW transformations, Created Aggregation level, Filters, Planning types, Planning Functions and custom Characteristic relationships for SAP IP using Fox code as well as object oriented ABAP for performance tuning.

·         Implemented custom enhancement to check for user authorization to run query through BEx analyser based on cost center. Also implemented enhancement to restrict values shown in F4 help for input in BEx analyser for running queries.

·         Created an interface to send payment details for PO along with the parent contract to B2G now system.

·         Decommissioned the SAP Script for PO and Created Adobe form for SAP Purchase orders, Contracts and RFQ by customizing standard form ‘MEDRUCK’.

·         Created Smartform for HRAA.

·         Created a report that will show the Tcodes and users assigned to role along with validity details for SAP Security audit report.

·         Created program that will read data from excel and show it in ALV and create a Purchase Requisition with that data upon confirmation by user.

2.    PSEG Mobile Inventory

Project Description: This project is aimed at providing PSEG field technicians with ability to access and update inventory data from their Mobile terminals.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Worked on POC for showing the inventory data for the field technicians by interfacing output of SAP inventory transaction MB52 with mobile terminals.

·         Building an interface from Mobile terminal calling SAP to locate the parts needed by field technician by Part number using results of transaction LS26 in SAP.

·         Building an interface to confirm open transfer request whenever field technician receives replenishment for the stock using SAP transaction LS22.

·         Building an interface from SAP HR system to Mobile terminal system for sending the personnel data for field technicians whenever data in any infotype is changed (HR change pointer).

 

 

3.    PSEG LI migration

Project Description: This project is aimed at migrating PSEG LI data from National GRID system to PSEG system enabling PSEG LI to use PSEG SAP system for business operations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Working Primarily in Plant maintenance module as lead techno-functional consultant.

·         Attend Workshops with business to understand and meet business requirements for custom developments. Explain the requirements to offshore team and provide guidance for development

·         To analyse  the technical feasibilities and provide necessary inputs

·         Design the technical specification document for custom developments and data conversion. And co-ordinate the developments with the offshore team.

·         Solely responsible for migration of PSEG LI data  into PSEG SAP system using migration programs and LSMW’s for data objects like material master, functional location, equipment, customer master, task list, maintenance plan, class and characteristics.

·         Creating equipment’s, functional locations, task lists, maintenance plans, scheduling maintenance plans to create notifications.

·         Developed interface to create/change customer master data in SAP using ABAP Proxy, whenever customer is created/changed in CAS system

Project Description: This project was aimed at providing PSEG managers alerts for approving timesheets, purchase requisition and purchase orders on their PSEG Portal even without logging into SAP. The functionality to approve the Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders directly from portal without logging to SAP was also provided.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Understanding Business Requirements

·         Preparation of Proof Of Concept(POC) and Technical specifications   

·         Solely responsible for Code Design and Development

·         Implemented User Exit- EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_003 for PR creation to send the alert to portal using ABAP Proxy. Developed RFC enabled custom function modules which will show the pending Purchase Requisition details on PSEG portal for the concerned approver by interacting with SAP EP. Provided the ability for approvers to approve the Purchase Requisition from the portal itself without logging to SAP.

·         Developed a Workflow for sending e-mails to approvers for approving the PO with details of PO upon creation using PO business object events. Developed workflow to send the e-mail to PO requester upon the approval of PO.

·         Developed a Batch program to send the alert to portal for managers who have pending timesheets to approve.
