The New York Power Authority, officially the Power Authority of the State of New York, is the largest state public power organization in the United States

NYPA acquired New York State Canal Corporation in 2016, I worked on integration of NYPA and NYS Canals Corporation project, as a SAP BASIS admin for this project extensively worked on building new server for Canals and integrating with NYAP SAP systems.

 

This Integration Project deals with SAP portfolio, SAP HR and SAP MM modules, all procedures and Process related to NYS Canals Corporation need to integrate with NYPA systems. Analytical System like BW and SAP BOBJ BI systems Build and Configuration for the NYS Canals project.

 

In NYPA all server are hosted on VMWare running Windows server 2012, with Oracle Database 11G, to manage all these servers we Build SAP LVM server to manage the SAP landscape.

 

Solution Manager NYPA was using only SLD for Enterprise Portal for Time sheet entry, Were I suggest to Use more functions like CTS+ for all the SAP systems SAPEP, BOBJ BI, and Fiori.

 

Canal integration project completed on Mar 2017, after that we SAP BASIS been moved to production support, where I got to implement SAP LVM 2.10 and upgrade solution manager to 7.2 SPS3 systems and split AS ABAP and AS Java, Patching BW system to 7.4 SPS 16.

 

Looking at the trends NYPA decided to migrate there SAP BW on oracle to SAP HANA, Still the Project is initial stages we are building SAP HANA server for migration.

 

Implementing SAP Concur on AWS Cloud, NYPA has successfully implemented SAP Concur for their Travel and expenses, SAP Concur tool made easy to file their Travel expenses NYPA Employees, this went Live on 11/24/2017.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Solution manager Upgrade from SOLMAN 7.1 SP12 to SOLMAN 7.2 SP3 and split AS ABAP and AS java after solution manager upgrade.

·         Requirement gathering on Solman 7.2 upgrade, enhancements and impacted functionalities 

·         Project plan prep on pre-upgrade activities, report on projects & solutions, content activation, upgrade activities, post-upgrade activities and validation of functionalities

·         Solution manager Upgrade from SOLMAN 7.1 SP12 to SOLMAN 7.2 SP05 and split AS ABAP and AS java after solution manager upgrade.

GenRe (General Reinsurance) is a reinsurance company with history of 95 years in reinsurance business. GenRe is implementing SAP for their Reinsurance business using FS-RI and FSCD modules build by MSG

 

Entire Implementation of SAP systems on Virtual environment, to facilitate most flexible and efficient way of handing servers whole environment protected with Cluster, FT, DR and Clone backups, Well efficient design of storage for Logs, database, buffers and Backups, example logs on SSDs, Database on

 

Gen Re has international business going live by June 2017 and Already went live with North America on Sep 2014 to take advantage with SAPECC connecting to SAPGTS for global Trading for Denial Request, connecting to legacy systems using SAP PO, for SAP reporting (BW, SAPDS, SAP BOBJ BI) with best IT services model using ITSM, ChaRm and Technical monitoring

 

This was huge implementation project with all latest version of SAP with latest virtualization technologies for efficient and optimum performance. 

My Job was to provide efficient solution to connect the systems and provide data access, I was provide solution for connecting reporting systems with SAP reporting (BW, SAPDS, SAP BOBJ BI) and configuring and execution of may solution manager activates like Setup of ChaRm and Technical Monitoring.

 

The Base of the Project SAP ECC EHP 7 with FS-RI and FSCD modules, connecting to legacy system using SAP PO to update and fetch the required for historical and present business. I was providing solutions to connect the entire legacy database like SYBASE, Oracle, DB2 and MSSQL server to SAP.

 

Reporting using SAP BW, SAPDS and SAP BOBJ BI and DW systems, Gen Re mostly depend on reporting system for business proposition for the business partners; Most of the reports depend on Webi (Web Intelligence Reports), Crystal and MS Analysis reports.

 

I was handling all the Reporting system, including SAP BW 7.3, SAP Data Services 4.2 and SAP BOBJ BI 4.1systems upgrade, supporting all the data loads, configurations and design for connecting all legacy systems.

 

Solution Manager 7.1 system setup, basic configuration and managed system configuration for ITSM and ChaRm Configuration Configured Technical monitoring setup for Prod system including Database, Host, and applications alerting configuration

 

This is N+1 landscape with project and maintenance landscape for effective utilization of ChaRm features, N+1 is very effective for implementation of new projects in Project Line and Production bug fixes is on maintenance line. Effectively managed retrofit and Cutover using ChaRm

 

Managed number of releases including RAS 1A go-live on Sep 1st 2014 for North America region, activates including for release offline backups, ChaRm RFC and Change document IDS and release strategy, supporting BW and DW loads.

The Core Business of SIEMENS Healthcare runs on SAP R/3 4.6C version.

SAP HANA 1.4 implementation with SLT SPS06 and BODS 4.1, configuration to ALL North America systems like ECC6.0, Solution manager7.1, SLT and no SAP systems using BODS, SAP HANA administration using SAP HANA Studio. DATA provisioning using SLT and BODS, monitoring using SAP HANA Studio

This project is more about upgrading the R/3 4.6C system to SAP ECC 6.0, this upgrade has many phases as the system is highly customized for specific to SIMENS Business operations like CIP2SAP add-ons.

Implemented SSO (single sign on) using SNC, Configured SNC connection to different interfaces including non sap systems like Siebel, Prism (com server), Java TS, WebMethods...etc. and configured between different SAP systems (SAP ECC, BI, PI, UC4...etc. and Web As Java).

CERT Measure Plan 1.5 this is basically SOX auditing, these are predefined standards need to follow for security reasons. I implemented all the change and configuration as per the CERT Measure Plan 1.5

These systems running on IBM AIX on ISeries and DB2 Db6 7 database, all are standalone systems without Cluster, However for Server failures a unique process called OSR is designed and architecture by Siemens Healthcare Team for uninterrupted Business operations.

Production system ECC6.0 running on IBM AIX iSeries, with 10 App running on RedHat Linux, with DB2 DB6 as database with OSR as cluster with 2 hour failover time. With contingency system Netapp snap mirroring and snapshot. And worked in upgrading SAP Pi system from 7.1 to SAP Net weaver PI 7.3 (only JAVA)

Responsibilities:

·         Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6 using standard sap procedure (using sapup tool)
