Project Description

Apple Test Environment Support (TES) is the project initiated to get the clear accountability of testing systems, reduction in testing delays due to environment issues, better collaboration among multiple IS&T applications and to address common test environment issues and achieve efficiencies in demand fulfillment, capacity utilization and environment availability, provide infrastructure and landscape support during testing efforts.

The aim of the project is to check readiness, validation in preparation for a testing events; and ensuring that infrastructure is in place and ready. With this project, the testing environment will be built to the specification of the newly developed business application and thus helping in smooth migration of developed business application to testing environment. This will result in haste free quality analysis, user acceptance testing, integration testing and end-to-end stress testing. The project basically involves SAP Core, SAP Retail, SAP APO, SAP GTS, SAP CRM, SAP TMS and SAP BW Modules.

The following are the major tasks in this project.

• Providing infrastructure and landscape support during testing efforts
• Application onboarding, requirements gathering, scope expansion for the project
• Creating flow and functionality documentation of the involved processes
• Conduct integrated testing for various projects

The Nike global SAP rollout and Support project deals with implementation and changes to SAP ABAP objects related to SD and SAP Apparel & Footwear Solutions (AFS) modules. The project has two major releases yearly (Spring release and Fall release) and monthly minor releases.
