·          Managed an Agile team responsible for all system changes within a multiple client inventory of Mutual Funds and Fixed and Variable Annuities. These changes include, but are not limited to: Fund Additions, Name Changes, Fund Closings (hard or soft closings), Fund Liquidations, Fund Mergers, Cusip Changes, Share Class Changes, Fund Removals and Stock Splits. On May 1, 2017, we processed changes to 48 funds with each fund averaging 10 products. It was also my responsibility to manage communications between the Delivery team and the client.

 

·          Managed a Fund Substitution effort for a leading Retirement, Life and Reinsurance client, using the Agile XP Process. The scope of this effort was to consolidate 43 funds into 16. The funds had 109,000 contracts attached to them. The $2.0B in assets represents the largest fund substitution ever filed with the SEC. As PM, managed the changes made to the funds on the back-end systems and all verifications in QA and Production. I was also responsible for providing status updates to and managing communications directly with the client.

 

·          Managed an Agile effort to fix a Feature Detail Issue in the LifeCad application that was caused by a previous modification. As PM, managed a team to create a feasible workflow and to develop a process to maintain the application’s stability as new features become available in the future.

As each item did not have an individual due date, the Agile Methodology provided the team the flexibility to change deliverable dates for each task as new information became available. The delivery team was able to focus on continuous delivery and minimize waste.

 

·          Managed compliance enhancements and updates to the yearly Employee and Board of Directors Conflict of Interest questionnaires. The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information regarding any actual or potential conflicts of interest and to ensure compliance with certain laws, rules and regulations. As PM/Scrum Master, ran Planning/Backlog Grooming, Scrum Sessions and Sprint Retros.

 

·          Managed e-Signature (Infrastructure and Application Development) solution which was integrated to enable NYL agents to increase quality and decrease processing time for client facing transactions and to allow for the complete automation of straight through processing. Implemented and modified an out of the box software package which enabled agents to procure and submit signed policies in real time. ·          Managed eDelivery (Infrastructure and Application Development) solution to provide New York Life clients the ability to receive documents, correspondence, forms and letters and statements from the New York Life Virtual Service Center in place of printed copies. This effort required a re-design of and modifications to the Virtual Service Center web page. o    Key deliverables: 1. Reduced items printed and mailed to clients thereby reducing costs.                                   2. Enabled flexibility to select eDelivery preferences.

 

·          Managed the LTC Claims Printing project, a Waterfall effort for the New York Life LTC Division to address a need to expand on its ability to generate an Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) out of the new LTC Claims System (Pega) and store them in Filenet for later reprint / reference needs.

 

·          Managed the LTC Paperless Workflow project, an effort for the New York Life LTC Division to increase the LTC Imaging System infrastructure capabilities by developing a reusable document ingestion solution for importing documents and indexing information into the FileNet image repository, updating claims security configuration, and developing employee claims configuration in FileNet.
