Guidewire Rating

I worked at Guidewire with the development team to compose ISO commercial Property & Casualty rating stories so that algorithms could be added to Guidewire InsuranceSuite 8 software.  I used ISO ERC (algorithms/rating content, countrywide and state specific) to develop the rating stories.  Created test cases and tested PolicyCenter to verify the product model transformation and rating of coverages. 

Also, I worked on Guidewire projects to implement Guidewire InsuranceSuite 8 & 9.  I performed duties of a Business Analyst.  Facilitated JAD sessions, wrote configuration user stories, and documented rating algorithms and tables for commercial and personal lines of business (Property, General Liability, Businessowners Policy (BOP), Auto and Specialty coverages).  Mapped and composed user stories for countrywide and state specific Workers Compensation forms. 

Commercial P&C Insurance

Have experience with agile and waterfall methodologies, ISO, rating, and commercial insurance lines of business:  Property, General Liability, BOP, Inland Marine, Crime, Boiler & Machinery, and Automobile.   Developed use cases.  Lead meetings and communicated with actuarial, ISO, business SMEs and Product Owners to get information needed to document functional, non-functional requirements needed for development.  Also, wrote rating user stories for documenting algorithms and tables for calculation of coverage premiums.  I produced test cases and manually tested rating and user interface.

I also have experience with Ratabase and NextGen software.  Used Ratabase to created, revise, and test rating algorithms and tables based on ISO rules and business filings.  I verified rating algorithms using Nextgen software.  Identified rating defects and worked with developers to correct formulas.
