The main purpose of the Information and Architecture team is to generate Data Lineage. Data Lineage can be seen as a kind of genealogy of a data element. Enterprise Data Management standard requires that data elements associated to Key Busin­­ess Elements each system must document lineage from the end data consumer to the System of Record. Legislative bodies and bank regulators expect financial institutions to demonstrate control and management of data. Data lineage supports the process of impact assessment and is integral to the efforts of assessing the quality and completeness of metadata.

·         Responsible for creating the Business Requirement (BRD) by gathering Business requirements from clients.
