Project: Next Generation Order Management System (NGOMS)

NGOMS is an N-Tiered SOA solution and focuses on exposing all Trading Grid operations through Restful Web Services. Service Layer acts as one of the tiers, primarily acting as an entry point interfaces for Consumers to submit and process requests into the Trading Grid. The Broker GUI primarily consumes this transport mechanism, which is a browser-based application. Restful services can produce and consume both JSON and XML payloads.  Restful services expose both Privileged and Non-Privileged Operations. A lot of Administrative operations for NGOMS are considered Privileged operations, and are exposed only as Restful services. There is another category of Restful Web Services that NGOMS provides. These are primarily proxies to any external services outside of NGOMS.
