CONTRIBUTION:

·         Involved in up gradation of SAP BW 3.5 Flow to BI 7.0.

·         Involved in extracting data from LO and Generic extractors.

·         Created Generic Data Sources using tables, views to extract data.

·         Worked on Partitioning and Info Cubes Compression.

BP (British Petroleum)-WRM. It is a petroleum based company which does exploration, production, refining, distribution and marketing of refined petroleum and other petrochemical products. It mainly deals with the downstream operations. WRM was based on BW 3.5.

CONTRIBUTION:

·         Extract, transfer and load business data from multiple SAP R/3 source systems, Flat File Source System, BW system to SAP BW system.

·         Responsible for handling all kinds of ETL Errors occurred during extraction, transformation and loading of data and resolving it.

·         Executing the process chains and monitored the same.

·         Loaded the data from ECC to BI and used initialization with delta update and full update methods.

·         Responsible for executing the Reconciliation Reports and validating the data between BW and R/3 source system.

·         Loaded Hierarchy from R/3 and Flat files as per the business requirements.
