Designed services to retrofit the eTransaction Application with a Rule Engine while evaluating SOA alternatives like Web Services (SCA), Apache Synapse ESB, Drools Rule Engine, Guvnor rule authoring and JBoss BPM. Project duration was from 7/2010 to 09/2011 with a development budget of $140k., with the following responsibilities:   

§  Designed a roadmap to leverage the eTransaction application functionality in a SOA environment.  It entailed proposing a technology stack which will allow sharing the applications business functionality with other sub-businesses IT organizations and other applications within GE Capital HQ.

§  Evaluated JESS and Drools rule engines while contrasting implementation approaches for eTransaction system.
