·         Developer on web sites for BostonDotNet and C Sharp User Groups

·         Coordinator of a pilot program from Microsoft to help Boston .NET user group members achieve certification

Project Highlights

·         Ability to adapt to whatever technology that best meets the need within client standards and project constraints

·         At CodeRight developed C#/.Net classes using OOP best practices to consume WCF web services from D&B. Also displayed that data on ASP.Net pages on SharePoint site using JavaScript/jQuery and HTML.

·         At SC DOT heavily customized pages using jQuery/Html/CSS to be less SharePoint like and more like what their internal users expected, and developed complex workflow using Visual Studio

·         Managed Sql Server for SharePoint farms at multiple engagements, including BriTech, Novant Health, and Michelin. In addition at Thomson maintained data back end to manage data vis a vis the trials. Finally I managed some queries for Sql Server Reporting Services (SSRS) at DCRI.

·         At DCRI came into a large complex SharePoint project in production that the firm was into for $1.5m, needing bug fixes and enhancements. I identified why the project was stuck and headed for failure, convinced the team of the needed change in direction, then convinced management to take the necessary steps. Quickly I got up to speed and reduced average bug fix turnaround from 6 days to 2. In addition, modified existing classes to be more OOP and used jQuery to make pages more usable.

·         At Chase I developed web services then called into them using Ajax capabilities of jQuery to retrieve and display returned Json data. In addition, managed Sql Server tables and stored procedures.

·         At Michelin installed SharePoint Enterprise for specific plant, set up services, and created site structure reflecting plant organization. Developed a complex workflow to replace an error prone, tedious, paper process that required creating a sequential workflow with chacteristics of a state machine workflow. Now requests for plant changes are processed in an orderly and predictable fashion.

·         Heavy use of Power Shell for administration and management of SharePoint sites as well as Windows configuration.

·         Use of full range of SharePoint capabilities such as feature creation, event handling, feature activation/deactivation, web parts, custom pages, master pages, develop Forms Based Authentication (FBA) solutions, and content types with their own, unique, functionality (forms, event handling)

·         Migrate ASP.Net solution to SharePoint at onClick

·         Served business analyst role on a number of engagements

·         Use of Office products, such as Access and Excel, in complex applications using both vba and .Net approaches.

·         Effectively worked with all levels of project stakeholder to provide optimal results
