Project Description:

 

The overall goal of replacing the current data entry systems is aimed at increasing Telerx’s ability to handle higher standards in sample delivery as well as add scalability for accepting more varieties of request form data in multiple locations.

The strategy for the new system involves using imaging software as a means of tracking forms for data entry. The imaging software gives Telerx the ability to scan documents thus creating an electronic copy of all paper based requests that are sent to Telerx. The advantages of scanning documents are less paper management, reduced manual tracking process, quicker data entry and the addition of data entry capabilities in any Telerx location.

In conclusion, the main goal of this project is to introduce the ability to data enter scanned copies of forms submitted to our data entry groups. Benefits for this new system include; increased customer satisfaction, increased employee satisfaction, updated technology, reduced cost to client, reduced cycle-time, streamline and accelerate new business initiatives, and enhance Telerx’s competitive edge in the pharmaceutical industry by utilizing industry best practices.
