Vrindi Inc – Consultant @ Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky as Solution Architect      Feb 2016 – June 2017

Rotary Mission System CRM ETL using SSIS/SQL (2 months): Designed and developed interfaces to Dynamic CRM using Kingsway Soft SSIS plugin. Designed and developed TSQL stored procedure to transform Sales Force data to Dynamic CRM. Also designed and Developed program to load data into Dynamics CRM from Excel using .Net application.

HR/Badging System Data Feed TSQL PL/SQL ETL (8 months): Designed and developed data feed from Sikorsky Corporation to Lockheed Martin from SQLServer to Oracle PL/SQL to PGP Encrypted File. Majority of the work was in PL/SQL. The application required problem solving using PL/SQLs when getting feed from SQLServer as there were limitations in advance adhoc queries against SQLServer links.

Sikorsky Aircraft Maintenance System and Others (6 months): Designed .Net applications used for keeping Aircraft Logs, Electronic Technical Manual.  Hand-on extensive work in PL/SQL to optimize performance of slow running processes and solving complex data issues. Re-engineered existing application, with most of the application developed in PL/SQL, which integrates Sikorsky Badging/HR data with Lockheed Martin HR System.

The initial goal on this project was to port a large legacy application from VB6 and Oracle to web application on .Net platform. The initial effort on this assignment required, effort estimation, project timeframes, costing, application architecture, high level design, establishment of application framework and standards, identification of third party tools and controls that can accelerate development. I built a prototype using .Net 4.5, Entity Framework 6, Oracle 11G and Telerik Reporting and other Components.  The bugs tracking, monitoring, analysis/dashboard of labor hours for various issues was done in JIRA.

RestaurantWave Product (2008 – 2016): Lead the team of six developers to create the product from conception to design and implementation. I launched the product for small to medium restaurant businesses, with more than two hundred business using it. The technology enables ecommerce transactions and organic marketing for the restaurants. Many custom projects designed with complex delivery logistics. Framework uses web services for Telephone and Fax Integration and for real time monitoring of transactions. Many other cloud based services are used for Email marketing, Media Streaming and more. The financial transactions were implemented considering the best PCI Compliance standards. The system currently processes tens of thousands online transactions with millions of pages of served each month.  The product is engineered on ongoing basis with the team size of two to three developers. Also got part of the application developed using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript using PhoneGap.

Centralized Administration and Monitoring Tools (2008 – 2010): Centralized management tools help manage hundreds of websites on different servers & datacenters. The centralized monitoring gets real time feed from all the production with events monitoring of telephone calls, faxes and other important events. The solution is complex because of real time monitoring.

RestaurantWave.com Portal (2012 – 2015):  An aggregated solution which will offer new classes of services that will work seamlessly with local web solution. It currently offers event reservation / ticketing system.

Hands on development of critical web service serving millions of transactions per month across the enterprise. One of it was providing National Provider Identifier (NPI) to many applications throughout the organization.

BizTalk interfaces for transformation of data from one system format to another, followed by PGP Encryption or Decryption for transferring the data to agencies outside the organization. I have good understanding of HIPAA compliance and adoption of best practices on security of information inside and outside the corporation.

I also helped PMO office with projects dashboard designs which could help make strategic decision during the Concept definition and detailed Analysis of costs and resources in Design phase.

I did many telecom software products as a team member and technical lead. Dialect suite was a comprehensive product for enterprise call centers that enabled Computer Telephony Integration with Northern Telecom PBX switches. The product created newer breakthrough interfaces to service customers reaching for help via Email, Online Text Chat and Fax, in addition to IVR/Telephone Call. We created Telephone call distribution queue as primary delivery mechanism by creating phantom call. It has won awards for being the best in its class and has many success stories with large corporate customers.

The Dialect Suite has won a coveted 1998 CTI Product of the year from CTI Magazine (The Dialect Suite has won a coveted 1998 CTI Product of the year (http://www.tmcnet.com/articles/ctimag/0199/ctipoty98.htm) Product of the Year Award for 1999 from Communications Solutions magazine; Judges Pick award from Computer Telephony Demo and Expo '98; and the Society for Technical Communication Award of Excellence.

The role also involved hands on design and development of many modules. I designed and developed the demo for the application that made a huge difference in connecting with the buyer.

I also worked with many Telephone/IVR/Client Server technologies with a unique approach to managing projects/labor hours for Amusement parks and large government organizations. The recording of labor hours could be done from different client operating system and using Telephone IVR System. The product was called “Wye Time and Attendance System”, developed using C-language, Uniface, SQL-Server and Oracle.

I was involved in the Develop application for Human Resources Technology Group for Retirement Benefits.

The project required integrating HR Benefits application with 401K plan. The project required application of Client-Server technology on a highly portable client technology. The solution was developed using Uniface, Pro-C & Oracle. This was a 20-man year project involving strong project coordination.

Wipro Infotech & Polaris, Senior Engineer                                                                         1989 – 1992

Worked in International Operation Division, with design and development of Preventive Maintenance System for a France based Company. This was a product sold to many small manufacturing units. It also involved evaluation of CASE tools like FLOW, Views++/C++, 4GL-Windows on Ingres, MS-Windows, and Oracle, Sybase, Ingress.

At Nucleus/Polaris, main line business was in providing Banking application solutions to large bank such as Citibank India, Saudi American Bank Riyadh.

I worked on Generalized Installment Loan System. The product was designed to have flexible usage across different types of loan system. Developed in SQL-Forms , Oracle on PC-ATs and Novel LAN.

Vehicle Loan Booking De-Centralization was an improvised way to do booking of loans at point of sale and the data porting to the main system at End of Day. The development tools used were Cobol-II & ABP.
