Description: PepsiCo decided to kick off their SAP implementation PI in 2007 in their markets Netherlands, China, Mexico and Egypt. The PIRT 1.1 template was successfully implemented in all of these markets with IRC (Saudi Arabia) being the last extension. PI then migrated to the PIRT 2.2 template which has been rolled out to Germany, China (Phase II), Egypt (Phase II), the remaining industries in Mexico and Brazil. Being an implementation in the distribution sector, PI poses several challenges in the business areas of procure-to-pay, production planning, inventory and warehousing, indirect sales, etc. Following two enormous implementations in Germany and Brazil, PepsiCo has now migrated to PIRT4.2, the DSD module being the latest addition to the template. All throughout, have been key technical resources who contemplated and implemented crucial technical changes to enable this evolution of the PepsiCo roll-out template.
Was FICO lead for PepsiCo Germany, Egypt, Saudi and Brazil. Worked as onsite-coordinator for 3 months for Brazil Market during the most critical integration testing phases and returned with encouraging letters of appreciation from the client and the project management.
Involved as a dedicated technical lead in the challenging DSD (Direct Store Delivery) implementation for PepsiCo International that will be simultaneously rolled out to 3 major markets across the globe. Was specifically congratulated by the PepsiCo management for proactive contribution that accelerated the project deployment.
