 T-Mobile US is one of the largest providers of wireless voice and data communications services in the US. The company's 61 million T-Mobile and MetroPCS contract and prepaid consumer customers use its networks domestically and able to connect to the compatible network of Deutsche Telekom when in Europe. Currently, working on the redesign of the flagship T-Mobile App.

 

The new T-Mobile app includes the following major improvements and updates:

·         A Fresh, New Design A streamlined ‘cards’ design allows customers to quickly see the information that matters most.

·         Multi-line Management Customers can now view and manage all lines on an account within the T-Mobile app.

·         Self-Service Tools Now, quickly and easily make changes to service plans and payment options within the T-Mobile app.

·         Simplified Payments The simplified payments process makes it easier than ever to view and manage billings and payments.

·         Device Health Enhanced diagnostic tools now do an even better job finding and fixing device health issues. (Android only)

·         Data Management Customers with Android devices can now track data usage of individual applications and optimize network coverage, battery life and device performance

     Re-designing the user interface of the application by following design guidelines of material design.

     Build a connection Framework for connecting to T-Mobile Servers. Used Rx Java and Callable Interface. Provided a simple interface with response call back which replaces Asynchronous Background Task. Now, converting to an SDK to reuse across T-Mobile apps.

     Refactoring the existing legacy code of Diagnostic module (Device Health, Hourly snapshot ...) in to an SDK. So, that we can reuse it across T-Mobile apps.

     Used ADB (Android Debug Bridge), DDMS (Dalvik Debug Monitor Service), Log Cat, Timber to view system debug output.

     Created Developer Checklist based on best practices and standards to increase the productivity and performance. As per checklist, Review the code of peer developers and post the comments if any.

the given schema and then we have to write XML’s and XML’s to java objects.

     Create\update mapping files for the existing classes. Also, created a tool to generate mapping files using Castor 0.9.7.

     Create test cases in JUnit to test the mapping files.
